The History and Nature Laboratory (LabHeN UFRJ) is a research group linked to the Institute of History of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IH UFRJ), and is coordinated by professors Lise Sedrez and José Augusto Pádua. LabHeN is open to undergraduate and graduate students, professors, and researchers who are interested in the field of Environmental History.
LabHeN holds weekly meetings on Thursdays, observing the academic calendar of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Our meetings propose debates on the many relationships between society and nature, brought by our invited guests and group members.
